I finally remembered to bring my camera to a swim meet!
Today the Gators swim against the Otters.
Before each meet, swim team members look for their Gator Buddy
to exchange small gifts and wish each other good luck.

The yellow block honors a member of the Santa TeresaOtter swim team who died many years ago.
As a swim team parent told me,
"When you swim in that lane, you must remember
that you are swimming for someone else."
