Actually, I start a new job at the campus preschool on Monday.

11. Were you considered a flirt?.... nope.

12. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir?....Nope.

14. Did you get suspended or expelled?....Never.

15. Can you sing the fight song?.... Huh?

16. Who was/were your favorite teacher(s)?... Mr. Ruthferford and Mr. Hillas because they demanded your best. Mr. Bernucci was hilarious 'cause he'd let you do whatever the hell you wanted.

17. Where did you sit during lunch?... In D-Villa... sometimes near the theater.

18. What was your school's full name?... Independence High School or I High for short.

19. When did you graduate? 1987

20. What was your school mascot?... We were the 76'ers. So I think the mascot was some dude in a patriotic uniform.

21. If you could go back and do it again, would you?... Hell no.

22. Did you have fun at Prom. No.... In fact, when the time comes, I plan on telling my children to spend the $150 elsewhere.

23. Do you still talk to the person you went to Prom with? Nope.

24. Are you planning on going to your next reunion?... No way.

25. Do you still talk to people from school?... Yes. The ones who are on Facebook.

Drink of the Week

I had this drink on my cruise... and I've been trying to recreate ever since...

London Lemonade
1 part Bombay Sapphire Gin
1 part Triple Sec
1 part fresh lemon juice (I cheat and use lemonade)

Fill a shaker with ice and add ingredients.
Shake vigorously for one minute.
Pour into a martini glass.
Garnish with twist of lemon.

For Vivian...

1. WAS YOUR FIRST PREGNANCY PLANNED? You bet.

2. WERE YOU MARRIED AT THE TIME? Almost 7 years...

3. WHAT WERE YOUR REACTIONS? Good. We're on schedule. That trip to Colorado paid off.

4. HOW DID YOU TELL YOUR PARENTS? We were out to dinner. Maybe for my sister's birthday? I think we just blurted it out between courses. Lots of jaw dropping.

6. HOW DID YOU FIND OUT YOU WERE PREGNANT? We'll it seemed pretty obvious... that missed period an all.

7. WHO DID YOU TELL FIRST? A co-worker. We were both trying to get pregnant around the same time. She won.

8. DID YOU WANT TO FIND OUT THE SEX? Hell ya. As my co-worker said, "I want to find out. Who wants to get stuck with a bunch of mint colored baby clothing at her baby shower?"

9. DUE DATE? 1/22/99 (A few days before my 30th birthday. It was a deadline my grandmother had set and Paul & I would come in just under the wire.)

10. DID YOU HAVE MORNING SICKNESS? No. I did have a major aversion to chicken though.

11. WHAT DID YOU CRAVE? Dairy. One day I went to the grocery to get myself some lunch. I got back to my office and realized I had bought yogurt, milk, & cottage cheese.

12. WHO/WHAT IRRITATED YOU THE MOST? My co-worker who won the pregnancy challenge. She, having a 6 week head start, became an authority on pregnancy and therefore, a dispenser of much unsolicited advice!

13. WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CHILD'S SEX? Boy. And I knew it before going in for the ultrasound. In fact, I remember thinking, if the Dr. tells me I'm having a girl, I'm going say, "Check again."

14. DID YOU WISH YOU HAD THE OPPOSITE SEX OF WHAT YOU WERE GETTING? Never.

15. HOW MANY POUNDS DID YOU GAIN THROUGHOUT THE PREGNANCY? Maybe 20 lbs? At one point, my doctor was concerned about my lack of weight gain. (Which people always find surprising 'cause I was about 150 or 160 when I got pregnant.)

16. DID YOU HAVE A BABY SHOWER? Yes.... three. One thrown by a friend, one by my co-workers, and one by my aunt. The family one was the most special. We have a tradition in our family of giving crochet baby outfits, and handkerchief bonnets. When I got mine I cried my eyes out.

17. WAS IT A SURPRISE OR DID YOU KNOW? I knew. I HATE surprises.

18. DID YOU HAVE ANY COMPLICATIONS DURING YOUR PREGNANCY? During one ultrasound my OB said she couldn't see all four chambers of the heart (of the baby). I was referred to a specialist to have a 3-D ultrasound. Waiting for that appointment was the longest 2 weeks of my life.

19. WHERE DID YOU GIVE BIRTH? O'Connor

20. HOW MANY HOURS WERE YOU IN LABOR? 12 hours? Pushed for 15-20 minutes. Afterwards I remember thinking, "That was easy!" At most, I would define the experience as uncomfortable.

21. WHO DROVE YOU TO THE HOSPITAL? Paul.

22. WHO WATCHED YOU GIVE BIRTH? Paul and the Dr. My mother in llaw was there, but just before delivery I asked her to leave.

23. WAS IT NATURAL OR C-SECTION? I guess I'd say unnatural when you consider the pain killers and the epidural.

24. DID YOU TAKE MEDICINE TO EASE THE PAIN? Oh ya. Lots.

25. HOW MUCH DID YOUR CHILD WEIGH? 7lbs 1oz

26. WHEN WAS YOUR CHILD ACTUALLY BORN? 10pm. ?

27. WHAT DID YOU NAME HIM? Andrew Ryan Jackson
